Now we are into March, Spring is just around the corner, and we’re excited to see some new styles hitting the shops…
- New Look Denim
Denim gets glamorous! This season’s jeans come with embroidery and even hand painted designs, which means you really can wear denim for any occasion and still look smart. The way to wear them is with high heels and a blouse or shirt, another of this seasons popular looks. For leisure wear swap heels for pumps. Choose whichever style of jeans is your favourite.
- Floral Prints
From Oriental to traditional flower blooms you can really brighten up the way you dress. If you find flowers too girly choose dragons or butterflies. Bright colours are everywhere, mixing citrus shades with bright pink. Yellow is big news, and looks great with an olive or dark skinned complexion.
Shirts and blouses especially over-sized are a top look this season with wide flowing sleeves. Go for a plain style or lots of ruffles down the front. Blouses are popular, again with wide sleeves and ruffles or choose a more fitted style with a pussy bow. To give an edgier look wear with jeans or for ultra-feminine, team with a full skirt.
Lots of different shapes this season, from pleats to wraps, to full skirts and asymmetric, the new skirts certainly aren’t boring. Maybe you’re not a fan but with so many styles to choose from it’s worth taking a look. Ruffled and irregular hems are in too. Lengths tend to be below the knee or midi.
- Geometrics and Stripes
Be bold and try stripes, horizontal and vertical and even together! Checks and gingham aren’t just for school uniform this year either. Block prints using colours which clash, such as pink and orange can be great for holiday wear.
