We’re lucky enough to be based in a town that has a fair few body positive influences, from pageant queens spreading mental health awareness to exercise-at-any-size icons, and we love collaborating with other local businesses that practice what they preach in terms of health, acceptance and self-love, no matter what shape or size you are.

You may remember a guest blog about our Sweetness & Sass Collection back in 2017? (Wow! Was it really that long ago?) – well, that was written by Jade and we are delighted to welcome her to the team on a more permanent basis.
A few weeks ago we got to go to the awesome Miss Voluptuous Pageant. Miss V is a pageant "for voluptuous role models across the country to share their platforms, ideas and visions for the future with other beautiful and like-minded women whilst participating in team building activities and development workshops during the pageant weekend."
We got to dress the contestants for the first round and even award an Apples & Pears Top Model.
After a hot and sunny few months, the weather seems to the changeable weather we are more used to in the UK. This makes it really hard to decide what to wear – a summer dress? Waterproofs? A jumper? All three?! Layers are the answer and we’ve come up with five great ideas to help you to dress for now while being prepared with an extra layer when the weather lets you down.
