Not Just in Blue
With lilac being one of this seasons’ most popular colours, how about trying it for jeans? It’s one of the most unexpected trends to emerge but in a soft version it is a really pretty change and ideal for holiday and beachwear. This seasons denim has a softer and more relaxed weave makes it even more versatile and comfortable.

Overalls
Along with jumpsuits and dungarees, these made an intro last Autumn and are back this season. Choose slightly cropped form fitting styles and team with everything from trainers to mules and ankle boots. Great for outdoor pursuits and holiday wear and a godsend for chilly camping trips. Don’t necessarily choose traditional navy blue – there are many different shades apart from grey and black.

Shirt Dresses
Elegant and versatile a shirt dress solves all kinds of ‘what to wear’ dilemmas. Dress up for workwear with a smart jacket and heels or down for leisure occasions with trainers. Most colours go really well with classic blue, especially red and dusky pink. To add your own touches denim is easy to customise yourself with patches, graffiti or embroidery, to give it your own personal touch.

The Shacket
New this season this is a cross between a shirt and a jacket. It’s lighter than a jacket but just warm enough as a spring cover-up. Easy fitting and longer than a conventional jacket, probably belted, this looks great over a midi dress and trainers. Darker indigo is flattering and is a good match with printed patterns fabrics.

New Ideas
Different textures and weaves or metallic finishes, together with sun blushed and check patterns mean a whole new look if you want a change. Contrasting stitching and tie –dying easily lend themselves to DIY to create your own unique features.
